There are a lot of reasons to
schedule a Doctor’s appointment – when you are in need, such as illness, pain, or a yearly physical. At our office we find a lot of our patients have foot pain and need to get in to see us right away. If you have an infected
ingrown toenail or stabbing
heel pain, you want relief immediately.
We try to give people who are in extreme foot pain an appointment quickly. When you give us 24 hours notice, it is much easier to us to use that appointment time for someone else’s emergency. We understand sometimes that’s just not possible – there are always travel delays, sickness or family emergencies. But whenever possible, if something comes up, please give us ample notice if you have to cancel.
We worry about you when you don’t call or show up for your appointment. We think of our patients as family. Just let us know you are ok, even if you are just held up at work or in traffic.
If you are one of those people who just always forget, let us know. We will be glad to give you a call or text to remind you that day.
With our new text message and email system we try to make keeping your appointment as easy as possible
Patients appreciate reminders.

The next open appointment probably isn’t tomorrow
Don’t let this happen to you. If you need to get in and our schedule is at full capacity, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to see everybody. Sometimes, we will have to reschedule that appointment a week or two out. If you really need to be seen, make every effort to keep that appointment. The next available time might be a couple of weeks away.
We need your help. We try to get people with foot pain in as quickly as possible. That’s where you come in. If you could give us 24 hours notice if you won’t be able to make your appointment, we can give that appointment to someone who is in pain and needs to get in right away.
If for some reason you have an emergency and can’t make it, we have patients who ask to be put on a waiting list to see the doctor right away. If you don’t let us know that you won’t be able to make your appointment, other people with foot pain can’t get in to see us quickly. When you help us, I know that the next patient who is in pain will be grateful.
