If your flat feet are causing you to have back pain or any other pain, like foot, ankle, leg, or difficulty walking or running, you should seek treatment.
What can be done to treat my Flat Feet and back pain?
Orthotics can be a great option for those with flat feet and back pain. Although they aren’t a permanent fix, they can decrease some of the extra motion that your feet are going through. This can lead to better stability.
Using braces can also be a successful treatment, they attach to your foot and ankle giving more control for those with certain types of flat feet.
Dr. Geshev might recommend stretching exercises as another helpful treatment. In rare cases, surgery may be needed to correct the problem that is causing your flat feet.
