Pain in the back of your heel
Many people experience pain in the back of their heel. Some may even feel a large bump in the painful area. This pain may be due to Achilles Tendinitis, an inflammation of the Achilles tendon at its insertion site on the heel bone. The large bump in the back of the heel may be due to swelling and inflammation from the inflamed tendon, or it may be due to a bone spur coming from your heel bone due to a pulling force from a tight Achilles tendon.
